Some cams came up on Craigslist recently, the guy says they're brand new Wild Country Friends but I haven't seen this colour-coded trigger design before. Google hasn't been much help either.

Anyone care to verify?

They don't look like WC Friends to me or any other well known cam design.

Buy at your peril!

Theres no way they're wild country.
I wouldn't touch them with yours.

Look like Kong cams?... similar stem to their 'slit fit' range

In reply to JIMBO:

From memory Kong cams have a Kong logo where that amateurish number is.

Yeah, the more I looked at them the dodgier they seemed. He had a set of 10 and is down to 5 so I'd decided against anyway but was still intrigued.

They look like the crappy Chinese ones I've seen on eBay, I'd leave them alone if they are.
They sell them in a set of ten too.

There's no sling on them for one thing.

What kind of flooring is that in the pic?

Acid etched concrete? Or could be a laminate benchtop?

In reply to TomCastellani:

He doesn't seem to know what he's talking about if he says they're Wild Country, and that's enough to raise a doubt. They're either Kong Slit Fix Flex or a copy of them. I have one on my desk in front of me (size 0) and as Deacon says, it has a Kong logo on it... It also has a doubled sling on it.

In reply to Dell:
Interesting - I thought it might be some kind of marble, or the inside of a massive sea-shell. Either way it looks like a potential slip hazard, so some form of protection is probably advisable.

These look well dodgy. Particularly when the tapes are missing. Numbers 4 and 5 appear to be virtually be the same colour. Where's the CE marking and rating?
