I considered it but ended up getting the 70D as I didn't feel there was enough progression to justify the price difference. Still feeling my way round all the functions - I had a DSLR years ago (350D) but other than that my digital photography has been with a G9 and G16, so obviously there's loads more functionality in this.
Other lenses - depends on what you're most interested in photographing, surely? I'm still working with the kit lens (18-55) and the 50mm f1.8, but my next is most likely to be the 15-85 - having tended, over the years, to use a 35mm film SLR with just a 50mm lens, I'm pretty lazy about wanting to swap lenses all the time (and the one camera/one lens combo is lighter!)
