|WHat to do in The Alps at the end of October

Well my flights are booked to Geneva for a week over the last week of October. Now all I have to do is decide what to do. I'm not a great rock climber and my choices are a week hiking or some shorter Alpine days. Even where to head to. Lots of things to plan/research. If anyone has some ideas or indeed is at a loose end during that week, let me know.
