If you're going to spend 40 minutes doing stretching, pilaties, yoga and martial arts style warm up exercises whilst giving a running comentary on how your new diet of lentils, tamarin seeds and kale have increased your power output tremendously, make sure you then effortlessly piss up half a dozen problems of at least V4, as opposed to falling off the first move of a V1.

Remove some of the extra weight too, although they'll probably have half a kilo of redundant facial hair to carry up the route as well.

hey! beardz are da bomb. And also a handy place to store that all-important post-send energy snack. Or 'remains of yesterday's dinner', as some prefer to call it.

Only lentils and kale? Where do you get your protein from?

In reply to zimpara:

100g of Lentils contains approx 9g of protein

I had a great session at the wall last night, fuelled by a Fray Bentos chicken and mushroom pie (Mrs G is away till tomorrow, so as long as I hide the tin I might get away with it) chips and gravy

I used to be vegan, so I'm kidding along with all the other funny responses.

True.

But I sometimes think all this warm up/stretching ritual, must take up 90% of their time at the wall.

I've always followed the Birkett warm up routine (for at least 15 years before it was known as such). And as my limbs haven't fallen off and my fingers haven't exploded I think its OK. youtube.com/watch?v=pVK8nALsUNw&
