EpicTV are recruiting for 3 positions within the climbing team.

In-House Climbing Producer

The Climbing Producer is responsible for commissioned and in house climbing content that EpicTV produces. You will be working with filmmakers in and out of house to create the best content possible for EpicTV.
The position will be based in Bristol or London.

Duties include:

Organising the buying of content for EpicTV
Organising in-house productions from concept through to delivery
Sitting with editors to make sure the end product is delivered
Helping the Head of Content to make sure the content we buy is in line with the overall strategy of the company
Liaising with the filmmakers to make sure the content is delivered to the standard of the company
Aiding the sales teams to write pitches for productions

You will be reporting to the Head of Content, and you will be working with the in-house production team, including the editors and camera operators that we have working within the company.

Skills required:

- Excellent inter-personal skills (there are a lot of different nationalities within EpicTV)
- An eye for good quality climbing content
- The ability to watch a lot of content fast
- Excellent English written skills (you will be writing a lot of pitches and scripts)

Experience required:

Production experience (having worked in television or films preferable)
A passion for climbing (we’re looking for an active climber who understands industry as well as what it is to be a ‘climber’)
A passion for creating content
Desire to work in a hectic but fun working environment!

The position is full time and the salary will depend on experience

In-House Climbing Editor / Cameraman

You will be be working with the Climbing Producer on EpicTV in-house projects, filming and editing.

Duties include:

Editing and organising shoots we undertake at EpicTV
Organising the in house kit that you will use on shoots
Working with the climbing producer to create content that is up to the quality of EpicTV standards

Skills / Experience Required:

Editing and filming experience
The ability to work under pressure to a tight deadline
Ability to work within a team
General tech skills

Anything else?
If you love climbing, that would be nice.

The job will be based in London or Bristol, and salary will be dependant on experience. The position is 3 days a week, with the opportunity for more if the work is there.

Social Media Intern

EpicTV is looking for an enthusiastic climber with a relevant qualification in journalism/media to fill the position of Social Media Intern within the team. This is a three month paid internship based in our Chamonix offices, during which time you will shadow EpicTV’s Climbing Editor in all things social media.

Maid duties:
Sharing EpicTV original content across all social media platforms
Gathering climbing news on social media
Creation of social media articles on climbing related topics
Finding original, engaging video content across all social media platforms
Skills required
Fluent English; Previous writing experience desirable.
Good understanding of climbing in all its disciplines (You don’t have to be sending 8a/E9, but it would help if you climb)
Strong social media presence and understanding of major platforms

No previous experience required (although it won’t hurt your chances) as full on the job training will be provided.
