White Spider is one the UK's largest climbing centres; It is spacious, bright and comfy, with lots of climbing and bouldering, and other great facilities - cafe, kids castle, and slackline. There are 380 routes of all grades spread over 104 lines, and 240 boulder problems in 3 dedicated areas, plus a campus and training area.
White Spider is looking for an experienced individual to fill a vacancy in the Duty Manager Team.
The purpose of the role is to provide management in all aspects of the day to day operation of the centre, including leading the reception team, to delivery a high quality service to all White Spider customers.
have previous Duty Manager experience
have the ability to motivate a team of staff
are able to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are maintained at all times
can deliver and promote high quality customer service
have excellent organisational and communication skills
have experience cash handling
can manage a busy workload and keep smiling
are a keen, active and experienced climber
have what it takes to be proactive in the running of a busy climbing centre

The successful candidate will hold:
an NGB qualification, (minimum SPA / CWA)
a current first aid certificate
