Grandes Jorasses, 3 kbThe north face of the Grandes Jorasses is one of the steepest and most beautiful in the Alps. At 1.5km wide and 1200m mile high it is an impressive sight. Alongside the Eiger, Drus, Matterhorn, Piz Badile and Cima Grande di Lavaredo it is one of the six 'classic' north faces of the Alps.
