There's a new comprehensive guide to Leonidio just gone on sale. After using it for the past two days it seems really good, barring the inevitable odd dodgy grade or approach time. You can buy it from the climbers' cafe there for 27 Euros. Nearly a thousand routes now and infinite rock left.

Never heard of it. Quick google and it's on my 'to visit' list, it looks fantastic!

Perfect timing. We are just heading to Nafplio and Leonidio this weekend!

How much is there in the lower grades? ie. 5s or less

I'm asking because we were going to go with a mixed group but the easier routes seemed to be farly spread out
but that was based on online topos that seemed not very complete especially if there's now 1000 routes

Thanks

There seems to be endless quality sport climbing in the Peloponnese. We just returned from a week in Kyparissi, which is about an hour south of Leodinio. Fabulous place to climb/relax on the beach. Well worth the trip.

There are loads of high quality easy routes, but the majority are in full sun

Try Mad Wall, Douvari, Rockspot, Twin Caves just to start. Bolting very good. Routes very heavily cleaned.

There's also some good low grade stuff at Kyparrissi. Make sure you download the new mini guide if you go there.
