Dear all,
I'm looking at trying to get some time off next year from mid-May to the beginning of August and would like to go to some interesting places. I hope the UKC community can give me some inspiration!
Would love to do some 'easy' high (5-6000ish) altitude mountains. I climb Scottish II / Alpine PD and go ok at altitude. Did Lobuche East in Nepal earlier this year so looking for something similar or a little more challenging.
I've looked at Mt Stanley in the Rwenzoris in July, or I could go back to Nepal in May but might be cutting it short before the monsoon arrives.
Does anyone have any suggestions for other regions with good climbing / trekking weather mid-May to July? I probably don't have the experience to organise a trip somewhere truly remote so at least a little infrastructure is also necessary.

Cordillera Blanca, in Peru, might fit the bill?
