Hi, Firstly sorry if is this subject has been discussed before, but I'm at a loss. I have recently taken up hill walking again after 18 months away and I'm after some new walking trousers. The trouble I'm having is finding any decent ones over a size 42" waist. I'm between a 42 and 44 and would like a pair of good quality soft shell trousers and have completely ran out of ideas where to find any. Could anyone one here please point me in the right direction?

The sizing is a bit all over the place so you'd need to do some specific research on each brand's sizes (is one manufacturer's 'XL' the same as another's? I doubt it)... but from a quick look the Berghaus Patera at least goes up to 42
