Has any one bought the new restyled laser comp 2( fly has vents on the ends)? Has it helped alleviate the condensation problems? I have the chance to buy an as new older style ( no fly vents) for £200 but am wondering if I should bite the bullet and go for the new design. What d'you think. Cheers. Tony

I never knew they had condensation problems with the competition. I've used the Laserlite (basically a prototype competition) since 2005 and never had condensation.

That's the information I had gained from the many forums out there. So your experiences from the prototype version is welcomed.

Yeah for sure, I've used it in all conditions up in the hills, winter and summer. I remember the Competition coming out and there being very little difference but Terra Nova were heavily developing their tent range at the time and changes were happening frequently. I've had the tent since 2005 and camped in it lots and if pitched correctly it's a winner.
