Hi. I'm heading to Cogne in about a month, so I wanted to start a thread to track conditions. Anybody know how cold it's getting down there? Any ice to climb yet? Thanks.

Haven't been to Cogne but here in Aosta (the town) its around 11° just now. Has been quite warm all across the north of Italy the last week due to extensive cloud cover. Was cold last night though and predicted to contunally drop below freezing at night for the next couple of days at this level.
Snowline is around 1500m

I might go for a tour towards Cogne at some point this week and will post some more relevant info then...
