Hi Folks

Looking for some advice from the ukc collective. I am planning
to spend all of January in Scotland getting out in the hills logging days for my winter ML. Does anyone have any advice on where I may find accommodation for the month. Cheaper the better if I'm honest.

Try mountaineering club huts, which may have spaces midweek.

I live in Kincraig, 6 miles south of Aviemore. We are planning on taking in short-term (i.e. for a month or two) lodgers from time to time, as we have a couple of spare bedrooms and like to have people around. At the moment I am already in touch with a couple of guys who are wanting a place in January for the same reason as you. However, if it doesn't work out I'll get back to you. Best wishes, Steve
