I'm going to get my boots resoled (Scarpa Mago) at Cheshire resoles. They give the option ot the following:

Five Ten Stealth C4 rubber 1/2 soles £38.00 pair
Vibram XS Grip Rubber 1/2 Sole £38.00 pair
Vibram XS Edge Rubber 1/2 Sole £38.00 pair
Vibram XS Grip Z Rubber 1/2 soles £38.00 pair

Can anyone advise what the differences in the rubber types are?

I, personally, would get the C4.

Robust and adequately sticky.

In reply to Billg: The Edge is stiffer and harder wearing than the grippier, softer Grip. It depends on what you are using the shoe for. Magos are quite stiff anyway, so the Grip would help with smearing.

i've just had my Katanas resoled with the C4 and they really stick to grit now!!
