Chon Jongwon working what later became Hymn, ~8C, 4 kbChon Jongwon, winner of the La Sportiva Legends Only a couple of weeks ago, has made the first ascent of Hymn, ~8C, in the Mudeungsan National Park in southern South Korea.

This was Chon's second ~8Cfirst ascent and also the second of the grade in the country.

Another very significant Korean ascent this week is Jain Kim's flash of an 8c route. I think that's a feat that's only been accomplished by a few other women: Janja Garnbret, Kajsa Rosén and ... any others ?
