I'm toying with the idea of getting a Canon M10 compact system camera. It seems to be a good price and has most of the features I would like but one thing it lacks is timelapse. I think it would be nice while camping or relaxing on the mountains to perhaps create a little video of streaming clouds or sunset or whatever. Any suggestions or indeed offers for around the same price??. I'm not interested in bulky DSLRs.

I did see some timelapse done with an M10. I believe the hack was to set the thing to continuous drive mode and then tape something to the shutter button to hold it down. Not ideal, as you have no control over the interval but it did seem to work.

The Canon CSCs dont' have a wide lens line up. You're best looking at Olympus/Panasonic/Sony/Fuji.
