The locals were all saying that it'd been a rubbish year weather wise when I went to Arapiles in November, apparently even the farmers didn't want any more rain! I'm guessing this isn't going to be welcomed by anyone!

Daytime temps in Alice seem to be averaging 30ish--so there's some way to go before the icefalls will be formed properly, I'm guessing.

I wasn't suggesting it would ever come into condition, just that an excessive quantity of rain wasn't that different to what other bits of Australia have had this year.
