Will you be cutting this one in two??

Or is this to replace the one you've now cut in two?

In reply to Dave Perry:

Depends how cheap I can get one for.

In reply to zimpara:

The German army in the 1970's/80's had a longish quilted jacket which had as an extra layer zipped inside it, which if unzipped could be re-zipped onto the hem of the jacket to convert it into a sleeping bag. I don't suppose they were ever intended as much more than a temporary measure as they were not very thick. Adequate as a cold weather jacket - but not as a cold weather bag.

I assume thats something along the lines of what you were trying to achieve?

In reply to Dave Perry:

No, I am looking for a straightforward sleeping bag this time.
