Looking at shedding some weight off my back for so touring and not carting my Grivel Airtechs about just in case so thinking about these for packability and weight, anybody used them ?

Not used them personally but have sold a few pairs, would try and get a chance to try a pair on your boots first as they don't seem to fit brilliantly to every boot. Would also consider something like this http://www.proskiservice.com/tech-crampon.html if you are looking for something lightweight and small pack size.

Doesn't seem to be a lot of stock in the UK of them at a decent price, Climbers Shop/Joe Brown were doing them at £95 but don't have stock, Facewest don't have stock either.........
