Can anyone suggest B&Bs or hotels in Fort William that offer breakfasts early enough for those cold early starts needed for winter climbing days? Last season found they didn't serve before 7.30.

I think you'll struggle to find any B&B owner willing to get up at 4am to cook you breakfast. The best you're likely to manage is a toaster left out and a loaf of bread. It's for this reason that I find bunkhouses tend to be a better bet.

Have you considered bunk houses/hostels etc.? Probably a little cheaper and give you more flexibility.

BnB's Hotels may be willing to help you but in my experience early breakfasts would be cereals, yogurts and juice etc?

The way this winter is going you'll struggle to find the "cold starts" never mind the early breakfasts. No more significant snow/frost on the horizon before February.
