Hi there. Up in the Newcastle area for a few months. Can anyone suggest crags around here. Sport or trad bit of bouldering.

There's not much (anything?) in the way of sport, but you're spoilt for good trad and bouldering.

Some Nothern sport, probably very different rock than most people are used to.

There's a tonne of sport in Yorkshire only a couple of hours drive from there.

the majority of local rock is sandstone which shouldn't be climbed damp (as its more fragile) and can be quite slow drying at this time of year.
