Hello

I have been looking online for a sort of illustrated guide to rock features to help when describing where routes run and where holds are, but have not found anything. Perhaps I'm using the wrong terminology in my search.

For example whats a flake, buttress, break, off width, nubbins etc... Does anyone have any recommendations.

When flakes break off they may leave behind nubbins and if you get enough broken flakes you get a buttress.
