The sun is shining in the republic of Sheffield, and I can't go out to play. Currently sat in a comfy chair after major surgery on Tuesday to get rid of cancery bits and feeling rather battered, so joy of joys, the Masters is on! OK, not everyone's cup of tea, but I do love it. Thanks BBC.

Many thanks! Recovery going well at the moment, prognosis due in six weeks. In the meantime, I am loving the snooker. Ronnie's postmatch interview was classic.

Brilliant final but with a lot of edgy frames. Its weird how O'Sullivan can win the Masters this late in his career when not playing anywhere near his top form. He takes the lead now with 7 Masters titles after Stephen Henry's 6 titles. In his post match interview he jokingly mentioned about also trying to steal Henry's 7 World Championships record (Ronnie currently on 5). I'd say he could win at least 2 more...
