Ben More, Mull

For anyone thinking of going up Ben More on Mull.
The bridge at Knock west of Salen is closed to vehicles for two weeks or more for repair, open for pedestrians.

Shall have a longer walk than usual on Sunday then.

Can't let a closed bridge get in the way of my date with the Mountain Gods.

Hope I'm wrong but I suspect more than 2 weeks.

Last I heard they plan to open the bridge to traffic on Monday.

It seems that not everyone knows this judging from the chat on the summit on Saturday. We were fine, bus to Kinloch Crossroads and up the south ridge.

Yes. Still people driving up to the bridge (from both directions) then having to turn round. Maybe they don't notice the road signs.

Its going on until late June apparently - it may be open on occasions. Mostly open to pedestrians/cyclists
