I'm looking to replace my existing Scarpa SL's. I've had 2 pairs - one about 20 years ago which were brilliant but eventually died and a second pair from about 10 years ago which have been terrible, they won't grip on anything and I can't wait to get rid of them. The replacement should be leather, 3-4 season and be capable of taking a crampon for winter walks in the lakes etc. Basically a one boot solution for all situations. What do people suggest?
