Anyone else see the slackliners at Malham Cove today? We found out about it from a post on the Yorkshire Dales National Park Facebook page so went along for a look. One shorter line and one very long one, and lots of people turning out to watch what was going on.

Didn't see this but I saw some at La Turbie over Monaco just after New Year, which was quite spectacular:

If you search for 'malham slackline' on twitter stuff comes up from last year. Looks cool.

It's impressive seeing them up there!

As an aside, how wet was the crag looking?

Pretty damp on the upper level - there were three parties climbing but all on the lower section.

Wow. Beyond me.

Did you see the film 'The Walk' which was on last year. It was about the tight rope walker who strung a line up between the twin towers. It was quite amazing. No safety system although he had a balancing pole.

It was very good. I quite fancy a go, say 15``' up to start with.
