ML Rope work practice areas around Ambleside

Hi there

Finding myself in the Lakes based in Ambleside next week with a mate who wants to do some rope work practice pre ML assessment. Anyone got any ideas of good practice areas that are easy to access so we can use the sessions to fill in if we find ourselves with some spare time.

Not short of route ideas (fingers crossed winter continues), so am looking for some lower down steep ground/rocky areas to use for practise without venturing onto proper climbing crags.

Ta very much in advance.

I can vaguely remember doing something similar on the sides of Whitestones near Newby Bridge. Closer to Ambleside, you might find some useful outcrops on the fellside above Chapel Stile?

Red Screes off the top of Kirskstone Pass...(a common place for assessments)
