A couple of friends are volunteering at a school in Nepal, and have set aside up to a month for trekking.
Can anyone suggest a good local operator?

I used g adventures when we did annapurna circuit. Half way through we had the big earth quake and the guide handled the situation brilliantly. He ensured we were safe, well informed but also made sure it didn't ruin the trip. Cannot recommend them enough. That particular guide has left now and works for royal mountain travel so they might be worth a look to.
