I'm planning on going to Nepal to climb Kyajo Ri with Adventure Peaks. I'm having trouble finding a insurance provider though, BMC seemed really expensive. Are there any providers people would recommend?
The austrian alpine club introduced extension insurance for more remote/higher places recently. Much better value than BMC. 31 days, worldwide, over 6000m is 191 euros. Excellent if rescue/emergency medical cover is your main concern. http://aacuk.org.uk/p-alpenverein-worldwide-service-aws-providing-annual-re...
I am already a member of the aac, definitely at alternative worth considering. The dogtag one is a very similar price and covers me for baggage loss etc as well. I'll do a bit of research, thanks guys
