Am I reading this correctly? The person on here who started the thread about people being kept at Guantanamo without trial being a good thing, is saying it's a good thing because it stops terrorism. Then used as there reasoning for this, someone who was kept at Guantanamo without trial, who then went on to commit an act of terrorism?

I've noticed a trend on UKC. If you start bitching about being disliked, then it's almost like saying "Please dislike all of my posts on this thread from this point forward".

It's just the way it is unfortunately and you have to deal with the whole 'dislike' thing.

You asked why people had given you a dislike, I told you why I had.

You act in your post as if you don't understand the OP's point, yet you capture it well in your post. Their logic is pretty simple and irrefutable.

If you're going to get teachy about dislikes you could try posting a less ambiguous message that doesn't make it look like you can't understand simple things.

I assume you disagree with the ethical, moral and legal implications of doing as the OP suggests; if that's the case then say so instead of trying to make it look like the OP was talking nonsense.

I consider the implication's of the OPs view abhorrent, short sighted, gung ho and indefensible legally and ethically. Logically though they're correct that if someone is detained in Cuba indefinitely then that same someone won't be able to commit a crime anywhere else.
