I saw this film the other night. Although the acting is good I found it to be rather rambling and pointless, and very depressing.

Anyone else seen it?

In what way pointless? I found this film very moving - a brilliant portrayal of extreme grief, all-consuming guilt - but in the end some light at the end of such a dark tunnel. Oscar for Casey Affleck?

Hahaah.....try telling a Salfordian that Salford is Manchester. I do for shits and giggles at work (in the quays). It's hilarious.
