I am arriving in Alicante next Saturday PM, and wondering where to climb on the day of arrival.

We are staying in Benidorm, but I am paranoid about leaving hotel bags in the car if we stop somewhere on the way from Alicante to Benidorm.

Is it best to drop bags at hotel and climb near Benidorm, maybe Gaudalest? Or would we be safe leaving bags in the car?

If anyone can share experiences that would be appreciated!

One option might be the new sectors at Sella (Bear/Doggy/Guantanamo). You can park quite close to the climbing there and its fairly handy for Benidorm. Theft from vehicles unfortunately seems to be pretty common on the Blanca these days so I wouldn't say you are being paranoid!

My van got broken into at the Carrefour near the Orange House, so I'd deffo drop your kit of before leaving your car anywhere.

Drop bags at hotel, then climb at Echo valley or Altea, both are pretty quick to reach from Benidorm.

I think dropping bags off is decided already then!
