Hi Everyone,

I'm thinking of having a bash at Samsons Arete at Sennen sometime soon. I've seen the route many times and it looks top notch but I've never had a proper look at it so I'm after any advice on what the climbings like.

Can anyone remember what style it is; powerful, delicate, long reaches, slopers, crimps, you know the sort of thing? What sort of angle is it as well. Anecdotes, stories or route reviews also welcome, basically anything that'll wet my appetite!

Cheers.

Powerful 6a move above fantastic gear I seem to remember. Got the ropes caught over my knee and under the lip as I pulled through and fought against that whilst going to the next hold. Definite sense of achievement after!

Sounds brilliant. Is it quite steep?

I bet that was a heart in mouth moment! The Velcro on my shoes always seems to grab the rope at the most intricate moments.

It is vertical.

Great, thanks.

Looking forward to it even more now.
