I'm thinking of visiting bramcrag quarry tomorrow. I've never been before.
Does anyone know if it will be dry? Any particular routes that are not to be missed?
Thanks

Hi Geoff, yesterday was dry in Grasmere and it's a clear start with a touch of frost this morning. can't comment on routes as I've not climbed there. Have fun. Gavin.

When I was there a couple of weeks ago we arrived to find the entire crag was pretty much a waterfall after the previous nights rain. Within a couple of hours most of it was dry and climbable. I think it'll be fine today.

I did a route called Michaelangelo over at the far left of the crag. It takes a fairly obvious and compelling line (for a Quarry) and was probably my highlight from the day.

Have fun!

Most of it will be dry now.

I was there last night. There is a reasonable amount of damp but still lots to do.

Don't miss, if dry, Charcoal burner, Grand Union, Usian Bolt, Desperate Dan, Michelangelo and Bramcrag Wall. Many others worthwhile routes too. Have a good time.
