Well it seems we have managed an area and it's been secured for only animals, trees, trad climbers and bouldering.
It has more rocks than the whole of Yorkshire and the peak combined. It's now known as THE SANCTUARY

Sorry, no sport climbers.

It would be so good to see a lot of sport climbers use the area. I'd love to see the whole area grid bolted and maybe we could even put chains and metal ladders to climb up 55 degree slabs with helmets. Surely you could make a commercial enterprise out of it ?
But would it work out properly?
Would the bears, leopards and monkeys and the Sanctuary owners like it ?
