Hey,

Anyone know anything about camping on Mallorca? Wild or paid.

The information i'm finding on google is mostly from other forum sites (Trip advisor, Lonely Planet) and offered conflicting information. Hostels are very dear.

Would be hoping to climb up around Sa Gubia.

Thanks!

Use Airbnb. No way camping is cheaper. Why scum it when you can get a nice apartment with a pool, hot shower, free car parking.

It's NOT good wild camping country. Rocky and dry and with a long history of access problems all over the island. You may well get away dossing next to a car in parts of the mountainy areas W of Sa Gubia (been there done that) but opportunities are few and far between.

Cerberus of Sa Gubia is probably long dead now but the Island seems to abound with his off spring craving to eat wild campers..........
