looking for a slightly stiffer shoe than vapour Velcros, and basically the vapour laces kind are meant to be stiffer, so was looking to purchase a set, but cant find any to try on. does any one know if sizing wise they match up. cheers

Can't help, except to say I didn't find them a particularly stiff shoe. Maybe look at the instinct, which I find more than stiff enough for my purposes (ahem).

If you happen to be size 7, I'm selling mine for exactly that reason. They're too stiff for me.

I used to love the old orange vapor velcro. When they got phased out I swapped to the new limey yellow vapor velcro thinking they'd be the same and they're nothing like! Hate them. However now climbing in the vapor lace which feels more like the old orange velcro in fit. It is a bit stiffer I'd say but not loads more. Size wise I found I could go down half a size in the lace. Used to wear 42 in orange vapor velcro now getting similar fit from 41.5 in lace up. Hope that helps.
