Black Hawk Bastion; much easier for short folk than for tall folk

There are no such things as reach problems, only strengh problems!

(10 points to anyone who which route the quote refers to, at least in the relevant guidebook)

True, but the grade might change.

As to the OP, look for pure crack or areta lines. A lot less morpho than some horrid face slouper thingies...

Surely if you have 5 feet you have a distinct advantage anyway...

johnny dawes is only a little over 5 foot and he was one of the best grit climbers of his generation. Lynn hill is less than 5 feet also a top climber.

I don't remember anything on Long Tall Sally (E1 5b) being particularly reachy. Billingsgate (E1 5b) wasn't reachy either from my recollection ........when I think about it, just find cracks rather then break to break type routes!

Though wasn't the answer to "what do you do when you can't reach the holds", "climb up to them"!

Lynn hill is small but she's not under 5'- she's 5'1". Likewise Johnny Dawes is small for a bloke but he's certainly not "just over 5' "

Mantleshelfy things are often good for the vertically challenged:

The Shelf (E2 5b)

Traveller in Time (E4 6a)

Stormbringer (E3 6a)
