Hey,
Im planning a gap year travelling and climbing. Just wondering whoch would be the best for a year traveling; the USA or Europe?

Best is subjective. What sort of things are you interested in ? Like, culture, food, scenery, Give us some help there Joe.

Climbing primarily haha. I guess culture also is a factor though.

OK, I'll bite. Can you speak any European languages other than English? That might influence , although not necessarily dictate, your choice.

I'd go USA...europe can always be done on standard week long holidays while you are working...the USA is much further so more difficult to squeeze into a shorter period of time. Plus the USA is an amazing place (the west in particular) and should be a place everyone sees.
