Going up this weekend to LLanberis to do some easy soloing 'cos my mates understandably don't want to climb with me. I'd prefer to avoid the north side of the pass so anyone know if Lliwedd and Ogwen are mostly dry?

Ogwen was dry last weekend for this sort of thing - Amphitheatre Buttress (VD) was dry and solo-able, and the wall with Mur y Niwl (VS 4c) looked dry from where I was. Tryfan also dry on the usual route and the east face looked similar. No idea on Lliwedd I'm afraid. Hasn't rained much/at all since.

great, thanks for info. presumably its a nice walk from the ogwen climbs back over to the climbers club hut in the pass?
