One for the Peak locals - is it possible to walk from Foolow to Horseshoe or Stoney without walking along the A623 (ie Any handy footpaths?). In Foolow for a few days with family and have never been to either venue and fancied scoping out one evening for a future visit

Hi there
There's a footpath to Eyam just south of Foolow heading east. You turn south just before Eyam down walled lanes to Horseshoe which shows up as Furness Quarry on the map. For Stoney, carry on through Eyam then on the east side there's a series of footpaths to take you down to Garage Buttress,
All pretty obvious on an OS map and a nice walk away from traffic
