Hi all,

I have been out the climbing game for some years now however; my lads 12, 16 are looking at doing some climbing.

We will sharpen up my skills and I will teach them first on our local climbing wall in Norfolk.

My question is, where is a good place to start with them on top/bottom rope in the derbyshire area? It is about a two hour drive for us.

Thank you

In reply to nodyland:

Stanage Edge is as good as anywhere to start as it's four miles in length and has grades Mod to Extreme.
Take a look at ZoomTopo.com

Be early to park at the popular end at weekends, otherwise use the Plantation car park further down the hill.

Have fun.

Stanage is a good shout obviously.
Windgather for grit and Harborough for limestone might be considered the 'standard' answers to your query.
