We are travelling through the north of Spain this summer by bike, from Bilbao to Barcelona, and taking our sport gear with us! The idea is to encompass a bit of the Pyrenees and stop off at sport crags en route. One place we are set on visiting is Huesca. Looking at mid 5 to mid and high 6 grades. Does anyone know of suitable rope length/number of quickdraws needed for this region? At the minute we have a 50m rope and 12 quickdraws (but will change if needed) - trying to keep things light on the bike! Any help would be awesome, thanks.

You should be fine with a 50m rope and 12 draws for the Huesca region, unless you visit Riglos, in which case a longer rope(s) would be advantageous.

For modern sport routes in Huesca, ideal to use a 80 m rope. Never less than 60 m, and with a not at the end!! Be safe
