Hello,
I have the new Beal booster III 9.7 mm dry cover rope.
This rope is marked by black limit label.
I've just seen that the black limit area is more tough then the rest rope.
Is that normal condition or defect is exist ?

The black middle markers are usually slightly stiffer, they usually wear on the first use and become the same as any other section of the rope.

Yes perfectly normal that it seems stiffer but it will gradually soften up. No need to worry.
