Small Wall which is part of The Great Wall at Wintours Leap has a new route and the entire wall has been cleaned.
The New route is called 'One for Button' and goes at around E3 5c 15m. It is an independent line to the left of 'Under a Raging Moon' has a thread and 'enough' protection where it is needed. A peg protects the final technical moves on the upper wall. The ledge at the top has been cleaned and there is now an abseil station in place on the ledge instead of the tree above. It is worthy of a star.
The left wall now has 3 very good routes, two of which merit a star. They have great rock and interesting lines, worthy of keeping them out of the undergrowth in the future.
Two other original routes on the Right wall have been cleaned, 'Tiswas' the corner formed between left & right wall @ (12m HS 4b) & 'Amoeba' left face of the right wall @ (12m E1 5a) and are worth complementing the other 3 routes.
