Pennine Way 2017

Looking forward to the next 9 days to finish my boyhood dream of completing the Pennine Way getting some much needed training in tonight with my old friend Theakstons here in Horton in Ribblesdale any advice would be welcome

That's definately a matter of opinion. I thouroughly enjoyed the PW when I did it and thought the CtC was a few good days linked by drudgery.

No specific advice, but an open and flexible approach to accommodation and daily distances is useful. I think if I can remember back the best part of 40 years I camped more often than not but used B&B and the odd youth hostel if weather dictated.

Hi Dave did the c2c a couple of years ago in 12 days and really enjoyed it despite the blisters met loads of different people and did it as a wild camper
