I'll be in Swaledale for the month of July. I can't find any info on bouldering or routes near there. Can you help a brother out? Thanks in advance!

Nearest bouldering is probably:

Healaugh (Crag Willas)

and Goldsborough Carr

Thanks for the help! Do you know if there is a guidebook to the area? Or even where the closest outdoor shop is to Swaledale? Thanks for the help.

If you venture a little further away to the north York moors, then there's Scugdale too.

If you click on those links, you'll get basic info including any guidebooks covering the crag, how to get there and any access restrictions. Have fun!

There is loads of bouldering around that way, Get Yorkshire Gritstone Volume 1 if you get chance. Definitely check out Healaugh as someone has already said but also check out this site which has some information on venues up that way.

Also here is free info on Arkengarthdale and Healhaugh.
