Off for an alpine climbing trip this summer to Chamonix, what's the best map to get? Is there one that covers the whole area, or is it a few you have to get?

Sorry, probably dumb question, feeling lazy today...

For East Chamonix area you will need this: Chamonix, Mont-Blanc ~ IGN Top 25 3630OT
And for West Chamonix area you will need this: St-Gervais-les-Bains, Massif du Mont-Blanc ~ IGN Top 25 3531ET

Edit: To have a look on-line prior to going, take a look at this site: https://www.walkingclub.org.uk/ign_france_maps/Top25/map-3630OT.shtml

If you are ordering maps, would recommend the waterresistant ones (the one with the pink stripe).

Maps can be bought at several places, if you can't find it. Lots of maps and topo's at the book store across Snell sports.
