I just stumbled across this really excellent film about Caroline Ciavaldini. A fascinating insight into the person and gripping footage of her on the Voie Petit on the Grand Capucin:

33 minutes well spent.

Just got back from a busy shift and totally indulged myself; excellent. Cheers Eric. We need to get out - I'll sort some dates if OK with you.

Thanks for sharing again, it was certainly a memorable one to make. Definitely planning on heading back to the Grand Cap again this summer to do some of the other (easier) routes but I might leave the camera at home this time!

I won't provide any spoilers. What I can say is that the bits that stood out for me were CV's account of her personal background and motivations, and then that gripping section of her battling away on that pitch and the aftermath. Will absolutely appeal to anyone who has dug that deep. Bravo.
