Here at Beacon we’re always excited about new climbing hold products and when something new turns up, we immediately get it tried and tested in-house at Beacon Climbing Centre. This way, we know that if our customers endorse a new product, then yours will too.
We first introduced Agripp climbing holds into the UK market in November last year after initial testing at our climbing centre produced overwhelmingly positive feedback from our users. 6 months in and Agripp holds are beginning to appear in an increasing number of venues around the UK as word spreads about the range.
Now, we’re pleased to announce that most Agripp sets have been released in PE (polyester resin) moulded variants with a corresponding saving of around 20% on the PU (polyurethane) prices. It’s nice to buck the trend on increasing prices.
Getting technical, PE remains the benchmark material for moulding climbing holds supplied to the UK market. Agripp uses an advanced CX200 PE compound that we feel combines the best combination of surface texture feel, surface wear resistance and colour resilience with lower production costs.
About Agripp. Based in Belgium and headed up by master sculptor Philippe Ceulemans, Agripp has been in the climbing hold business for over 25 years. The holds are moulded using the latest technologies (including the safety coil system and universal bolt insert) and are beautifully crafted with original and ergonomic designs incorporating Agripp’s trademark style: heavily featured textures that force precise movement. Available in the UK exclusively through Beacon Climbing Holds.
